Probe Gold is moving forward with its Novador project in Canada, awarding major engineering contracts for the pre-feasibility study due by the end of 2025. Ausenco Engineering Canada will lead the study, G Mining Services will handle mining engineering, and GHD will manage tailings and water infrastructure.
The Novador project covers 202km², holding 80% of Probe Gold’s gold resources in Val-d’Or East. The project benefits from a stable region with low-cost mining operations and existing mills. Additionally, Probe Gold completed the acquisition of the Bermont Claims adjacent to its Monique gold deposit for $3m (C$4.12m) in cash and shares.
Probe Gold president and CEO David Palmer expressed confidence in advancing the Novador Project with global leaders in engineering. The company is fully funded for regulatory and permitting work, aiming to create value for shareholders. The project’s progress aligns with ongoing efforts to push the project towards feasibility study and permitting phases.
