Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz vowed a forceful retaliation, leading to a volatile trading session. The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty closed higher, with mid-cap and small-cap indexes also rising. Ambuja Cements saw a 4 percent jump after announcing a successful commissioning of a cement unit expansion. Other top gainers included Bajaj FinServ, UltraTech Cement, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
