S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Index shows 2.7% annual gain in U.S. home prices

In April 2025, the S&P CoreLogic Case-Shiller Indices showed a 2.7% annual gain in U.S. home prices, slightly lower than the previous month. New York led with a 7.9% increase, while Tampa fell 2.2%. Year-over-year, the 10-City Composite rose 4.1% and the 20-City Composite increased 3.4%.

Month-over-month, the U.S. National Index saw a 0.6% gain in April. After seasonal adjustment, there was a -0.4% decrease. The 10-City and 20-City Composites both reported gains of 0.7% pre-seasonally and a -0.3% decrease post-seasonally.
