Grupo Apex, a Spanish snacks maker, acquires local peer Chavez y Clark, owner of SuperMex brand. Deal details undisclosed. Chavez y Clark specializes in corn and wheat tortillas in southern Spain. Acquisition adds a plant to Grupo Apex’s 12 facilities, expanding into new food categories like corn tortillas. CEO Santiago Sala aims for growth and diversification. SuperMex facility employs 36 with €5.3m turnover in 2024, projected €6m sales by 2025.
