SPYV Attracts $730M in Assets Amid US-China Trade Talks

The SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Value ETF (SPYV) saw a $729.6 million inflow, reaching $26.7 billion in assets. In contrast, the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY) had outflows of $868.7 million. U.S. fixed-income ETFs gained $591.3 million, while U.S. equity ETFs gained $550.7 million, with ETFs overall adding $1.8 billion for the day.
In terms of specific ETFs, the Direxion Daily TSLA Bull 2X Shares (TSLL) attracted $491.7 million, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) gained $362 million, and the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV) collected $270.9 million. On the flip side, the Direxion Daily Semiconductor Bull 3x Shares (SOXL) lost $335.3 million, the iShares Russell 2000 ETF (IWM) experienced outflows of $243.8 million, and the SPDR Dow Jones Industrial Average ETF Trust (DIA) shed $192.8 million.
Chinese and U.S. officials discussed trade matters in London, with expectations for progress on critical mineral exports. The ETF industry saw a net inflow of $1.8 billion for the day, with U.S. fixed-income ETFs collecting $591.3 million, U.S. equity ETFs gaining $550.7 million, commodities ETFs attracting nearly $347 million, and international fixed-income ETFs pulling in $289.2 million.
