Circle Internet is targeting a valuation of up to $7.2 billion in its upsized US IPO, reflecting momentum in the stablecoin market. Trump’s involvement in crypto projects raises conflict of interest concerns. Stablecoins like Circle’s USDC are unaffected. The company plans to raise $896 million by selling 32 million shares.

Circle’s USDC, the second-largest stablecoin globally, is set to benefit from a pending stablecoin bill. The company’s primary revenue source is reserve income from interest on Treasuries backing its USDC coin. However, distribution and transaction costs have outpaced revenue growth. Circle is set to go public in New York this week.
