Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick predicts XRP will surpass Ethereum in market cap by 2028, becoming the second-largest non-stablecoin digital asset. XRP currently holds a market cap of $130.9 billion and would need to reach $5.6 in the next three years to meet Kendrick’s projection. XRP is trading at $2.22. Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse aims for XRP to capture 14% of SWIFT market share by 2028. Investor Jeremy Raper revealed Ripple’s plan for a $700 million buyback of company shares at $175 each, representing a 135% premium. Ripple holds $3.7 billion in cash, 41 billion XRP tokens worth $91 billion, and $600 million in undisclosed investments.
