Antonio Filosa, the new CEO of Stellantis, will receive a minimum of $4 million annually for his first two years, with potential to earn up to $23 million a year by 2028, including bonuses. His remuneration is lower than his predecessor Carlos Tavares, who received 35 million euros in his final compensation package.

Filosa’s annual base pay is $1.8 million, below Tavares’ 2 million euros. He will also receive bonuses of up to 400% of his base pay based on company objectives, and long-term incentives in the form of shares, potentially reaching 780% of his salary by 2027.

Until potential long-term incentives are paid in 2028, Filosa will receive a $1.2 million cash award each year. He will also have access to company benefits such as health care, retirement plans, tax equalisation, personal use of company aircraft and vehicles, personal security, and annual medical check-ups.

Filosa’s term as CEO will be five years, aiming to ensure stability and effective response to industry changes. He will be appointed an executive board member at the July 18 extraordinary general meeting. Tavares, who earned 36.5 million euros in 2023, left the CEO position after just under four years.
