Stock market down slightly, oil prices up due to U.S. attacks on Iran

The stock market showed a muted response to U.S. strikes on Iranian nuclear sites, with the Dow down 36 points and the S&P 500 flat. The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.1%. Brent crude oil futures rose 0.4% to $77.30 a barrel amid concerns of escalating conflict in the Middle East, up from $62 in June.
