STRABAG Rail secures €360m contracts to modernise Czech railway infrastructure co-financed by the EU. Upgrading a 10km section between Nezamyslice and Kojetín on the Brno-Přerov line for high-speed trains is part of the project. The contract, valued at €110m, includes double tracking and a twin-track tunnel near Němčice.

The modernization project in Česká Třebová railway junction involves 72km of track, overhead lines, and 30 bridge structures. It is the largest tender by the Czech Railway Administration and will rebuild tracks for passenger and freight traffic. The project is expected to be completed by early 2032.

STRABAG Rail aims to contribute expertise in railway construction to create a modern, sustainable Czech railway infrastructure. These projects play a crucial role in linking the country to the trans-European transport network. Travelers can anticipate greater comfort and shorter journey times with these upgrades.
