Swiss chocolate maker Maestrani has acquired Belgian praline producer Delafaille, including its Czech subsidiary Ostrapack. The deal aims to expand product range and international market presence. Delafaille, founded in 1999, focuses on exports to the US, Latin America, and Asia. Maestrani plans to retain Delafaille’s team and appoint a new CEO.
In April, Maestrani also acquired Swiss chocolatier Chocolat Ammann to secure its future. Both companies have national distribution in Swiss retail and export markets. These acquisitions follow the successful revitalization of the Geneva praline brand Avelines in 2022. Maestrani continues to strengthen its presence in the chocolate industry through strategic acquisitions.
