TELUS prices US$1.5 billion Fixed-to-Fixed Rate Junior Subordinated Notes, to repay debt

TELUS has priced an offering of US$1.5 billion aggregate principal amount of Fixed-to-Fixed Rate Junior Subordinated Notes in two series. The Series A notes will bear interest at an annual rate of 6.625%, while the Series B notes will bear interest at 7.000%. The Notes are offered through a syndicate of underwriters led by J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, and Wells Fargo Securities, LLC. TELUS expects to close the offering on or about June 27, 2025, and plans to use the net proceeds to fund tender offers and repay debt, among other corporate purposes. Credit rating agencies have assigned 50% equity credit to the Notes.
