Valmet Automotive completes expansion of Zary plant in Poland, adding 8,800m2 to the existing facility. The expansion project, developed by Panattoni, enhances manufacturing capabilities for vehicle contract manufacturing and battery systems. The upgraded facilities include additional production and logistics space, contributing to over 300 new jobs and local economic development.

Valmet Automotive’s Zary plant is a key site for convertible roof systems and kinematic components. The extension brings the total production area to over 26,000m2, designed to meet increasing customer demands. CEO Pasi Rannus highlights the importance of the plant as a technology company and employer, strengthening the company’s European position in the automotive industry.

The company operates across Finland, Poland, and Germany, providing services to the automotive sector. In 2022, Valmet Automotive delivered one million battery packs to automotive clients in under three years. The expansion of the Zary plant marks an important step in the company’s European expansion, increasing production capacity and responding to changing customer needs with flexibility and competence.
