Los Angeles-based tech logistics company Warp has raised $10 million in a Series A round to scale its AI-powered freight network through robotics and automation. This brings Warp’s total funding to $22 million since its founding in 2021. The funding will go towards AI systems and the launch of a fully robotic cross-dock facility.
Warp is deploying AI across various areas like routing, scheduling, and customer service, showing gains in efficiency and cost reduction. The company has a network of 50 cross-docks and over 10,000 carrier vehicles. The new robotics site aims to move goods faster for both B2B and D2C shipments, enhancing efficiency.
Despite the funding, Warp plans to hire only 10 more full-time employees, focusing resources on technological and automation efforts. The company aims to scale with intelligent agents to make its workforce more productive. This approach targets middle-mile inefficiency and aims to redefine the future of supply chain infrastructure.
