Worthington Enterprises has acquired Elgen Manufacturing of Closter, New Jersey, a designer and manufacturer of HVAC parts and components. The acquisition was made for approximately $93 million, with Elgen generating net sales of $114.9 million and EBITDA of $13.3 million in the trailing 12 months ending April 30, 2025. Elgen will join Worthington’s Building Products segment, adding to their portfolio of building systems and components for heating, cooling, and construction. The acquisition is part of Worthington’s strategy to build and acquire businesses with leadership positions in niche markets. The acquisition brings meaningful opportunities for synergies and growth, with Elgen’s 250 employees joining Worthington’s people-first, performance-based culture.
