AT&T will dual list on the NYSE Texas starting Friday, August 1, attracted by the state’s pro-business policies, lower taxes, and strong economy. The company, based in Dallas and employing nearly 24,000 in Texas, will maintain its primary listing on the NYSE and trade with the “T” ticker symbol on NYSE Texas. The state boasts the largest number of companies listed on the NYSE. NYSE Texas, opened in March, has seen companies like Halliburton and Trump Media & Technology Group dual list. The upcoming launch of the Texas Stock Exchange, supported by BlackRock and Citadel Securities, will intensify competition in the listing market.
