AT&T reported Q2 financials, beating sales estimates by over $400 million and adjusted EPS forecasts by 1 cent. The company added 401,000 net postpaid cell phone subscribers and saw growth in its broadband business. They expect $6.5 to $8 billion in cash tax savings through 2027 from the One Big, Beautiful Bill.

Verizon beat revenue and EPS expectations in Q2 but lost 9,000 net postpaid cell phone customers, contrary to expectations. They added 42,000 business phone customers but lost 51,000 consumer customers. The company’s broadband business added 293,000 net customers. Verizon saw shares spike 4% on July 21.

T-Mobile reported impressive Q2 results, with adjusted EPS beating estimates by 14%. They added 830,000 net postpaid cell phone customers and had record figures for total net postpaid adds. Revenue per account increased by 5%, the highest in eight years. T-Mobile expects $1.5 billion in OBBB-related cash tax benefits in 2026.
