Big banks increasing dividends and share repurchase programs after passing Fed stress tests
JPMorgan Chase’s board approved a dividend hike and a new $50 billion share repurchase program following positive results in the Federal Reserve’s stress tests. Other major banks like Bank of America, Citigroup, and Wells Fargo also plan to increase dividends pending board approval. Shares of these banks are trading higher year-to-date.
