Charter Communications (CHTR) stock dropped 18.49% on Friday, closing at $309.75 per share. The decline was due to a drop in broadband users in the second quarter, with a loss of 117,000 customers. Despite this, net income rose by 5.7% to $1.3 billion year-on-year.
First-half net income for Charter Communications increased by 7.7% to $2.5 billion. Revenues remained flat at $13.7 billion for the second quarter and $27 billion for the first semester.
