Lineage Inc. expands Canadian network with acquisitions and projects, adding millions of cubic feet.
Lineage Inc. expands its network in Canada with recent acquisitions and expansion projects, adding 13 million cubic feet and over 68,000 pallet positions. The company acquired three cold storage facilities near Montreal, bringing its Canadian footprint to over 30 locations.
Novi, Michigan-based Lineage also announced expansion projects at three existing locations in Canada, including the addition of 1,500 blast-freezing pallet positions in Calgary. Upgrades are set to be completed by mid-next year.
President of North America East at Lineage, Matt Cramer, highlighted Canada’s importance in food logistics globally. Lineage manages over 485 facilities across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, providing various services like freight forwarding and truck transportation.
In addition to its recent expansion in Canada, Lineage closed on the acquisition of Bellingham Cold Storage and its three warehouses in April. The company continues to grow its presence in the cold storage industry.
