Construction has begun on the Santa Teresa solar and storage project in New Mexico, developed by DESRI and EPE. The initiative includes a 150MW solar facility and a 600MWh battery storage system. It will provide clean electricity for 60,000 homes under a 20-year PPA with EPE. Financing was secured from various financial institutions. LG Energy Solution Vertech will supply the battery systems. SOLV Energy will handle engineering, procurement, construction, and future operations and maintenance. In Michigan, DESRI and Ranger Power achieved financial closure for two solar projects totaling 290MW AC capacity.
