Crowe Global appoints Cynthia Butera as its in-house legal counsel, effective July 1, 2025. With 25 years of experience as a licensed New York attorney, Butera will focus on operational risk management, governance, and legal guidance for the accounting network. She brings expertise in commercial litigation, contract negotiation, and governance.
Butera, a former auditor and licensed CPA, has represented accountants and accounting firms, providing litigation services and consultancy in ethics, risk management, and professional responsibility. Crowe Global CEO Kamel Abouchacra highlights Butera’s role in strengthening legal and risk infrastructure for the network’s expansion and growth.
