Cryoport introduces new shippers for biological materials, but lowers sales outlook; negative.
Cryoport launched new vapor shippers for transporting sensitive biological materials at cryogenic temperatures, offering improved safety and reliability. The next-generation models, SC 4/2V and SC 4/3V, provide added protection for extended or challenging shipments, enhancing performance and reliability. Hold times extended to 19 and 26 days, and features include impact-absorbing technology and vapor shield technology.
In May, CryoPort reported a 10.1% revenue growth to $41.04 million in the first quarter of 2025. Quarterly net loss reduced to $14.0 million. The company lowered its fiscal 2025 sales outlook from $240 million to $250 million to $165 million to $172 million, impacting its stock value which has lost close to 9% year-to-date.
