DNO ASA secures offtake agreement with ENGIE SA for Norwegian gas production and USD 500 million financing

DNO ASA, a Norwegian oil and gas operator, has signed an offtake agreement with France’s ENGIE SA for Norwegian gas production, along with a financing facility with a US bank for up to USD 500 million. The agreement covers all gas production post acquisition of Sval Energi Group AS and has a tenor of four years. The financing facility allows DNO to receive payment based on future gas sales receivables, with a low interest rate and no charges for undrawn amounts. Proceeds will be used to replace existing facilities and for corporate purposes. DNO is also in talks for a similar agreement for North Sea oil production.
