Dodla Dairy, based in India, will acquire HR Food Processing for Rs2.71bn ($31.6m), aiming to expand its presence in eastern India. HR Food Processing, known for its Osam brand, operates in Bihar, Jharkhand, and other eastern Indian dairy markets, with two processing plants capable of handling 180,000 litres of milk daily. Osam reported revenues of Rs2.83bn for 2025, with milk accounting for 72% of sales. Upon completion, HR Food Processing will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Dodla Dairy, which was founded in 1995 and offers a variety of dairy products. Dodla Dairy’s procurement activities cover five states, with products sold in 13 states and operations in Uganda and Kenya.
