Stocks started July on a low note, with tech giants seeing a drop in shares. Small-cap companies, however, performed well. The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose by 400 points (0.9%). The S&P 500 fell by 0.1%, and the Nasdaq Composite dropped by 0.8%, mainly due to pressure from trillion-dollar tech firms like Nvidia, Meta, and Tesla.
