In early trading, Johnson & Johnson is the best performing Dow component, up 4.3% for the day and 11.9% year to date. Amazon.com is the worst performer, down 0.8% today and up 2.4% year to date. Microsoft is down 0.4% and Travelers Companies is up 1.2% on the day.
