EY India and Taxmann launch Taxmann.AI, an AI-powered platform for tax and legal professionals. It offers research, document analysis, and response generation based on original content from India’s largest tax and legal library. The platform features an ‘Ask Bot’ for natural language queries, integrates with Microsoft Word, and will soon introduce a ‘Draft Bot.’

EY India’s expertise in tax consulting and technology ensures Taxmann.AI is robust and user-friendly. The platform can research complex topics, extract insights from legal documents, and identify similar legal precedents using pattern recognition. It also prioritizes user data privacy with enterprise-grade encryption protocols.

Taxmann.AI will expand with a ‘Draft Bot’ to validate legal notices, generate draft responses supported by statutory provisions, and maintain user data confidentiality. Taxmann managing director Rakesh Bhargava highlights the platform’s commitment to enhancing efficiency and accuracy for tax and legal professionals in India.

EY India national tax leader Sameer Gupta emphasizes the digital transformation of India’s tax ecosystem and the collaboration with Taxmann to empower professionals with AI for smarter decision-making. The shared vision aims to leverage AI technology for greater speed, efficiency, and authenticity in tax and legal practices.
