Despite the lack of data or headlines pushing rates down, expectations have risen sharply recently. If the 10-year yield fails to hold support at 4.35%, rates are likely to decrease even further. Gold hit a new closing high, while Bitcoin is close to breaking above resistance at $3,450. The S&P 500, after breaking out of a falling wedge, is now at risk of moving back within the wedge.
