Swiss chocolatier Lindt & Sprüngli raises its 2025 sales forecast after strong growth in the first half. Organic sales expected to rise by 9-11%, up from previous 7-9%. EBIT margin projected to increase at lower end of target. First half saw 11.2% organic sales growth, totaling Sfr2.35bn.

Europe led organic sales growth with 17.7%, all regions showed growth. North America saw 3.6% growth, Rest of the World division rose by 7.8%. EBIT fell 11.3% to Sfr259.2m, net income declined 13.3% to Sfr188.9m. Free cash flow negative due to higher cocoa costs.

Lindt & Sprüngli plans double-digit price increases in response to elevated cocoa costs. CEO acknowledged significant rise in cocoa-linked price hikes. Company aims to offset cost pressures with price adjustments. Sales forecast revised upwards due to strong performance in H1.
