Barocal, a British company, wins the US$1 million Gold Award at the Asia-based smart energy innovation award, TERA Award. The technology developed by Barocal eliminates the use of harmful cooling agents, increasing energy efficiency up to three times compared to traditional systems. The event, held outside Hong Kong for the first time, attracted over 100 industry leaders, entrepreneurs, scientists, investors, scholars, and collaborators at King’s College, University of Cambridge.
