The Dow fell 161 points on Thursday, despite Microsoft’s 4.2% gain. The S&P 500 was down 0.1% while the Nasdaq Composite was up 0.1%. Most Dow and S&P 500 members were falling, but Microsoft’s performance helped boost the indexes. Meta, not in the Dow, was a top stock for the S&P with a gain of 12%.
