The SET saw gains in financial, service, and technology sectors, but weakness in food, property, and resource stocks. Trading saw 252 decliners and 191 gainers. The Dow, NASDAQ, and S&P 500 all closed lower on Wall Street due to profit-taking and concerns over new tariffs set by President Trump. Crude oil prices rose despite oversupply worries.
