MTR Corp. signs agreement for Northern Link Project in Hong Kong, aiming for completion by 2034.

MTR Corp. has signed a project agreement with the Government of Hong Kong for the Northern Link Project – Part 1, covering the design and construction of the NOL Main Line and NOL Spur Line. The goal is to commission the NOL Main Line and NOL Spur Line by 2034. The NOL Main Line runs from Kam Sheung Road to Kwu Tung, while the NOL Spur Line connects San Tin Station in Hong Kong to Huanggang Port Station in Shenzhen. This agreement is the first step in a two-part plan to implement and operate both railway lines as an integrated system.
