Nat-gas prices fell Tuesday as increased US production and cooler weather forecasts pushed prices to a 5-week low. US electricity output declined by 3.1% y/y, impacting demand from utility providers. Despite a bearish EIA report showing an increase in nat-gas inventories, supplies remain adequate. Active US nat-gas drilling rigs fell slightly to 109 rigs.
