The Rakuten Amex Card provides additional perks such as no annual fee, making it an affordable option for frequent Rakuten users. Cardholders can earn 4% cash back on up to $7,000 in Rakuten purchases each calendar year, on top of existing cash back from the platform.

Cardholders can also access Amex Offers and retail protections through the American Express credit card network. While details on cash-back redemption are still unclear, potential options may include Amex Membership Rewards redemption through Rakuten, adding to the card’s appeal.
