Advertising firm Omnicom exceeded Wall Street expectations in the second quarter, driven by growth in advertising and media. Shares rose 2.2% after the bell, with revenue reaching $4.02 billion, surpassing analysts’ estimates. The company’s largest segment, media and advertising, saw an 8.2% increase. Omnicom plans to acquire Interpublic Group of Companies in the second half of the year.
