Ondo Finance has acquired Oasis Pro to expand into the securities markets. Ondo Finance is a tokenization platform that leverages blockchain technology to tokenize traditional financial offerings. Tokenization involves digitally representing stocks as tradable tokens, making them more affordable to trade. Analysts predict the market will exceed $18 trillion by 2033. Ondo Finance plans to offer tokenized stocks to non-U.S. investors through its Global Markets platform. Founded in 2019, Oasis Pro was one of the first regulated ATS in the U.S. The deal is pending regulatory approval.
