Pony.ai and Dubai RTA introduce robotaxi service to improve urban mobility

Pony.ai and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority held a robotaxi unveiling ceremony in Dubai to advance L4 autonomous mobility solutions. The partnership aims to integrate self-driving technology into Dubai’s transportation network, improving urban mobility efficiency and reducing traffic congestion. The collaboration will deploy Pony.ai’s autonomous driving technology through supervised robotaxi trials starting in late 2025, with plans for fully driverless service in the future. Pony.ai has secured robotaxi operational permits in the United States, China, South Korea, and Luxembourg, expanding access to autonomous mobility globally.
