Porsche Reports Record Electrified Vehicle Sales in First Half of 2025

Porsche, owned by VW Group, saw a 36.1% increase in electrified vehicle sales in H1 2025, with 146,391 vehicles delivered globally. The Macan model led the growth with a 15% increase, followed by the Panamera with a 13% rise. Porsche delivered 45,137 Macan units, with 60% being fully electric. North America was the largest sales region, with 43,577 vehicles delivered, while Europe (excluding Germany) and Germany saw decreases. China experienced a 28% delivery drop. The 911, 718 Boxster, and 718 Cayman models saw declines due to limited availability. Porsche plans to decrease its workforce by nearly 3,900 positions.
