Crypto memecoin platform Pump.fun has acquired wallet-tracking platform Kolscan to enhance user experience and drive growth through gamification. The acquisition is part of Pump.fun’s strategy to stay competitive and prepare for its upcoming ICO aiming to raise $1 billion. Pump.fun plans to improve Kolscan features and make the tool free to use, focusing on social trading insights and copytrading activity. Pump.fun has also reintroduced livestreaming with moderation systems after receiving backlash last year. The ICO for Pump.fun’s “PUMP” token will offer 33% of the total supply at $0.004 per token to raise $1 billion, with institutional investors receiving the majority. Pump.fun has excluded investors from the US and UK from participating in the ICO due to regulatory concerns.
