Charges against Gordon Coburn and Steven Schwartz were dropped by the SEC and DOJ, following a $2 million bribe accusation in India. Cognizant settled for $25.2 million with the SEC for authorizing multiple bribes. Trump’s executive order paused enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which prohibits U.S. companies from bribing foreign officials.
