Victrex appoints James Routh as new CEO, replacing Jakob Sigurdsson; positive.

Victrex plc. announced the appointment of James Routh as its new Chief Executive, succeeding Jakob Sigurdsson, who will retire after eight years. Routh, currently CEO of AB Dynamics plc, brings over 30 years of experience in transportation, aerospace, and defense industries. Prior to AB Dynamics, he was Group Managing Director at Diploma PLC. Chair of Victrex, Vivienne Cox, praised Routh’s leadership and experience, highlighting his ability to deliver growth strategies for new markets and technologies. A start date for Routh has not been finalized, but Sigurdsson will step down once he joins the Board.
