WeRide Inc. reported a 60.8% year-over-year increase in total revenue to RMB127.2 million in Q2 2025, with robotaxi revenue growing 836.7% to RMB45.9 million. The company launched the HPC 3.0 Platform powered by NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Thor chips, reducing costs by 50%. WeRide operates the largest robotaxi fleet in the Middle East.
WeRide and Chery Group unveiled the new CER robotaxi model at Auto Shanghai 2025, featuring the HPC and Sensor Suite 5.6. The CER offers long-distance driverless shuttle services on the EXEED STERRA ET platform. WeRide-Uber’s robotaxi fleet in Abu Dhabi has tripled in size, covering half of the core area.
WeRide launched robotaxi services in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with a pilot operation covering key locations. The company holds autonomous driving permits in 6 countries and aims to deploy robotaxis nationwide in Saudi Arabia. WeRide signed an MOU with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority and Uber for pilot robotaxi operation in Dubai.
WeRide expanded its robobus services in Singapore, providing fully autonomous rides at Resorts World Sentosa. In Paris, the company partnered with Renault Group for an L4 autonomous minibus shuttle service. In Riyadh, WeRide tested and deployed robobuses in key areas to enhance last-mile transportation.
WeRide’s unaudited Q2 2025 financial results showed total revenue of RMB127.2 million, a 60.8% YoY increase. The gross profit margin was 28.1%, with a gross profit of RMB35.7 million. Operating expenses were RMB487.8 million, leading to a net loss of RMB406.4 million. Adjusted net loss was RMB300.6 million.
