Two of the top FTSE 100 UK dividend paying stocks, GSK and WPP, made payouts in July. GSK paid a quarterly dividend of 16p on July 10, while WPP paid a final dividend of 24.4p on July 4. Whitbread and Severn Trent also paid dividends in July, with RS Group set to pay on July 25. Five more dividend payments are lined up for August, including British American Tobacco, Vodafone, Mitie Group, Ninety One, and Castings. British American Tobacco will pay a quarterly dividend of 60.6p on August 1, with a total of 243p to be paid this year and a forward dividend yield of 6.31%. Vodafone will pay a final dividend of 2.25 euro cents on August 1, with a forward dividend yield of 4.68%. Mitie Group will pay a final dividend of 3p on August 4, with a forward dividend yield of 3.10%. Ninety One will pay a final dividend of 6.8p on August 6, with a forward dividend yield of 6.49%. Castings will pay a final dividend of 14.19p on August 26, with a forward dividend yield of 6.69%. To make it onto Morningstar’s monthly list, FTSE 100 companies need to have a Narrow or Wide Morningstar Economic Moat Rating, pay a dividend, and have a forward yield of 3% or more.
