Arista Networks acquires VeloCloud SD-WAN portfolio from Broadcom to enhance networking solutions

Arista Networks, Inc. (ANET) has acquired the VeloCloud SD-WAN portfolio from Broadcom Inc. for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will enable Arista to offer end-to-end networking solutions, augment its secure access service edge (SASE) networking gear, and compete with industry giants like Cisco Systems, Inc. and Juniper Networks, Inc.

Arista is experiencing solid growth momentum with a strong demand for its cloud networking solutions. The company holds a leadership position in the 100-gigabit Ethernet switching share and is gaining traction in higher-speed switching products. Arista offers a wide range of data center and campus Ethernet switches and routers with industry-leading features.

Arista is focusing on CloudEOS Edge to meet the increasing demand for scalable infrastructure and cloud networking solutions.
