American International Group (AIG) has named Scott Hallworth as its new chief digital officer, effective 1 September 2025. Hallworth will focus on digital, data, and genAI strategy, coming from Hewlett Packard with experience in technology and financial services. He will report to Claude Wade initially, who will transition to an advisory role due to health concerns at the end of the year. AIG chairman and CEO Peter Zaffino praised Wade’s contributions and impact on the company. Hallworth will report directly to Zaffino starting 1 January 2026, bringing over 30 years of experience in digital, genAI, and actuarial capabilities. John Neal was also appointed as the president of AIG’s General Insurance organization, effective 1 December 2025.
