Azets Sweden has acquired KPMG Sweden’s audit, advisory, and tax services for small businesses and mid-sized enterprises. The deal includes services for municipalities and regional authorities, with Azets integrating 300 new employees and 14 partners to expand its reach to over 30 cities in Sweden, boosting annual revenue to Skr1bn ($104.9m).

This acquisition marks Azets’ entry into the Nordic audit services market and aligns with their goal of establishing a £1bn business by 2027. The acquired services will form a new division within Azets Sweden, focusing on audit and advisory functions to enhance offerings for SMEs and public sector entities in the region.
