Continental has sold its ContiTech business area Original Equipment Solutions to Regent, with the purchase price remaining undisclosed. The transaction is awaiting antitrust approval and aligns with ContiTech’s strategy to focus on industrial customers. OESL, which employs over 16,000 people, had sales of approximately 1.9 billion euros in fiscal 2024. The business area specializes in developing hose lines and bearing elements for both combustion-engine and electric vehicles.
