Currency Exchange International, Corp. announced an amendment to its normal course issuer bid, increasing the maximum number of common shares that may be repurchased. The company has already repurchased 221,400 Common Shares under the current bid. All Shares will be purchased on the open market through the Toronto Stock Exchange and other Canadian trading platforms. The Board of directors believes that the market price of the Common Shares may not fully reflect their long-term value, leading to the decision to amend the share buyback program. The Company has also amended its automatic share purchase plan to allow for the purchase of up to 377,000 Shares.
